Table Thai Massage, part of the ancient holistic healing system of Thailand, provides the release of long held tension with passive stretching and gentle pressure applied along the body’s energy meridian lines. This type of bodywork is wonderful for athletes as well as people who sit or stand too much.
Typically the work is done clothed with the client wearing loose comfortable clothing. Many clients fall asleep even though they are being passively stretched throughout the session.

Traditional Thai Massage on the mat provides for more range of motion and more dynamic stretching than Table Thai. This modality is like restorative yoga and a massage combined, and it is appropriate for all body types and levels of flexibility. 
We will use gentle, passive stretching for the joints of the body where our life energy tends to get stuck. In addition, we will use acupressure along the body’s energetic pathways, as well as specific non-oil massage techniques to relax and soothe.
Please wear comfortable loose fitting pants and a comfortable top. If you tend to get chilly, long sleeves are best. Natural fibers as opposed to spandex are also preferable.
