I graduated from the Denver Integrative Massage School and received my licensing in Colorado to practice massage therapy in 2017. I recently moved to North Carolina to be closer to family, surround myself with seafood and humidity, and to incorporate ocean activities into my daily life.
Specifically, I am interested in working out interruptions/blockages in the Sen energy system of the body while manipulating deep tissue/trigger points. I employ my elbows and forearms for dynamic pressures, multiple cupping therapies to open blockages, and tailored aromatherapy & musical journeys during our sessions.
I have studied Chinese Kenpo/Kuntao, Indonesian Silat, and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu in the past. I was a TA with my late mentor, Karla Schwenn, in hatha yoga for 7 semesters at Metropolitan State University where I also earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology.
I try to start each day with positive affirmation, a smile, and gratitude to be breathing. I have lived/travelled around the world and hope to do it again with my better half. I enjoy outdoor exercise of all kinds, going to the movies, cooking and BBQing, listening to multiple varieties of music, and designing & fabricating wood furniture.
